Dividend Delight: Shares of Jindal Steel Limited will remain in focus next week as the metal stock is set to trade ex-dividend in the next five days. The domestic steel producer has announced a 200% dividend for financial year 2025-26.
Jindal Steel stock closed 0.51% higher at Rs 1100 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 1,12,209.69 crore on Friday, August 14. The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 1,105 per share and an intraday low of Rs 1,086.45 per share.
Jindal Steel Dividend
The company's board of directors had approved a 200% final dividend for every equity share with a face value of Re 1 each. Investors must own the stock on or before the record date to become eligible for the payout. The board has approved a final dividend of Rs 2 per share with a face value of Re 1 each.

Jindal Steel Dividend Record Date
To become eligible for the payout, investors must own the stock before the dividend record date. The company has fixed August 21 as the record date for "determination of the entitlement of Members to receive a final dividend of Rs. 2/- per equity share, i.e. 200% of the face value, for the financial year 2025-26."
Jindal Steel Share Price Recommendation
PL Capital maintained a 'Buy' rating for the metal stock with a target price of Rs 1298 per share. "We expect EBITDA CAGR of over 40% over low base of FY26. At CMP, the stock is trading at 9.6x/6x EV of FY27/28E EBITDA. Maintain 'Buy' with revised TP of Rs1,298 (earlier INR1,295) valuing at same 7.5x EV of Mar'28E EBITDA."
Jindal Steel Share Price Trend
The stock closed marginally higher on Friday. It touched its fresh 52-week high of Rs 1306 per share on April 21, 2026. The stock dipped to its 52-week low of Rs 943.5 per share on August 29, 2025. The stock has a return on equity (ROE) of 5.23%. Its share price value has surged 5.72% in a month and around 3% in 2026 so far. The stock has surged 18% in two years.
