Domino's Pizza Enters Into Partnership With Uber To Meet Online Ordering Demand

Domino's Pizza has entered a partnership with Uber in an effort to improve its delivery skills and fulfil the rising demand for online food orders, Reuters reported.

In premarket trade, the pizza maker's stock rose 7% while Uber's price increased 2%.

According to the business, the arrangement enables American customers to order Domino's food through the Postmates and Uber Eats apps, with Domino's and its franchisees managing delivery.

In an effort to protect margins from high input costs, Domino's has raised menu prices and increased delivery fees.

The largest pizza restaurant in the world forewarned of a slowdown in its delivery business in April as consumers shifted to preparing cheaper meals at home in the midst of a perilous cost of living crisis.
