Donald Trump As 47th US President, Says 'America's Decline Is Over'; Aims To Restore Nation's Sovereignty

Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 47th US President of the world's greatest economy. During his speech, Trump assures American citizens to restore the country's sovereignty and to make it even stronger, greater and exceptional than before. He confidently said, "America's decline is over", while taking a jibe of the previous Joe Biden administration. Trump's inauguration ceremony takes place on January 20, which will also include the oath ceremony of his administration starting with vice-president Vance.

Cannons were fired as Donald Trump took his oath as US President on January 20th. He received two bibles while being sworn in as the leader of the White House, one that his mother gave him, and second, the Lincoln Bible which has been a tradition followed by past US Presidents including Abraham Lincoln. The Hail to the Chief was played, following the Battle Hymn of the Republic. Before him, JD Vance took his oath, officially becoming the 50th vice president of the country.

During his inaugural speech at the main podium, Trump's opponents Joe Biden and Kamala Harris sat at the front row to his left, while JD Vance sat at the front row to his right. Behind Vance, on the second row, Trump's family was seated with the First Lady Melania Trump and their son Barron Trump. The United States Of America flag stood tall at the wall behind Trump.

In his opening speech, Trump said the 'Golden age of America' begins right now! Trump said the country's sovereignty will be reclaimed, and its people's safety will be restored. He said, the scales of justice will be rebalanced. He spoke to the crowd, that his administration's top priority would be to create a nation that is proud, prosperous and free.

Trump further added that America will soon be greater, stronger and far more exceptional than before. He is confident and optimistic about this.

He said change is coming fast. Trump mentioned about the wildfire and hurricane in LA and North Carolina, taking a jibe at Biden's administration. He said, the wealthiest and most powerful were affected by fires, and they don't have a home any longer. He sternly said, the current US health system does not deliver in times of need but claims to have spent more money than anywhere in the world. He also mentioned the failures of the current education system by saying, "teaches our children to be ashamed of themselves". He firmly said, "All of this will change" with immediate effect and rapidly.

Trump blamed Biden's administration for the country's migrant crisis. He said the country is confronting a crisis of trust over radical and corrupt establishment. He accused Biden's administration of providing unlimited funding to foreign countries but failed in protecting their own country's borders.

Thereby, Trump assured the audience of the US capitol in Rotunda, that America's decline is over and that his life was saved for a reason. His life was saved to make America great again, he added. Trump added that January 20th, 2025 is a liberation day, and his administration will work to meet every crisis right from dignity, power and strength to bring prosperity to its people.

Trump also acknowledged the black and Hispanic voters who voted for him during the 2024 election. Trump saw a significant surge of support from the black and Hispanic community, who were earlier more leaning towards democrats in decades-old elections. To them, Trump said, "I heard your voices in the campaign," and that he is looking forward to working with them.

The border crisis has been the forefront issue in the USA, and during his inaugural speech, Trump announced that he would be signing an executive order, declaring a national emergency at the US-Mexico border. He assured that all illegal entry would be halted with immediate effect. He also revealed that he is invoking the Aliens Enemies Act of 1798, which will enable the government to use the full and immense power of federal and state law against foreign gangs including cartels.

He aims to make America a manufacturing nation once again. Hence, he said, the country has the most oil and natural gas on the earth, and they are going to use it. He added that he will be directing all members of cabinet to do everything in their power to defeat high inflation and bring down costs and prices on priority.

He announced some massive developments for the auto industry. He plans to revoke an electric vehicle mandate which will enable the making of automobiles in America at a rate that nobody would have dreamt possible a few years ago. He said the US will be a rich nation again owing to liquid gold under their feet.

Trump also announced his plan to overhaul trade and introduce an 'External Revenue Service' that will collect all tariff duties and revenues from foreign sources. He said he would sign an Executive Order that would halt all censorship and bring back free speech to America. He vowed to build a nation that is colour-blind and merit-based. He also firmly said that it will be an official policy of the US government that there are only two genders namely male and female.

Trump vowed to reclaim America's rightful place as the greatest, most powerful, most respected nation on earth. He said he will be a peacemaker and unifier in the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal. He revealed to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.

He emphasized from this day onward, America will be a free, sovereign and independent nation.
