The online registration process for the Telangana government's Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme 2025 will close on April 14. Aspiring entrepreneurs from SC, ST, BC, and minority groups are eligible to receive up to Rs. 3 lakh in financial aid to launch their own startups. The initiative aims to empower youth of the state and encourage economic independence and job growth by providing subsidised loans.
The Rajiv Yuva Vikasam is an ambitious scheme that empowers unemployed youth by helping them become self-reliant. As part of this initiative, eligible youngsters are being provided financial assistance of up to Rs 4 lakh to support their entrepreneurial aspirations. Telangana Chief Minister (CM) Revanth Reddy officially launched the scheme on March 15. The CM announced that it would benefit nearly 5 lakh youth across the state.

Key Features of Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme
Through this scheme, self-employment opportunities will be extended to the youth belonging to SC, ST, BC, and minority communities in the state. Financial assistance ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 3 lakh will be given to each eligible individual. The state government has earmarked a budget of Rs 6,000 crore for the implementation of this plan. While the Telangana government is offering a subsidy of 60% to 100% per unit, it is important to note that the remaining amount to be contributed by the candidate will be arranged as a bank loan. Selected candidates will also receive 15 days of training to gain skills in their chosen fields.
Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme: Eligibility Criteria
To benefit from this scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Telangana.
- Only unemployed individuals are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must belong to SC, ST, BC, MBC, or Minority communities.
- The annual family income of the candidate should be less than Rs 1.5 lakh for rural areas and less than Rs 2 lakh for urban areas.
- Only one person per family can apply.
- If a family availed a subsidised loan earlier, reapplication is allowed only after 5 years.
- Applicants can select any unit; preference given to those with relevant skills or experience.
- Priority is given to the poorest among eligible categories.
- Age criteria: The candidate must be aged between 21 and 60 years for agriculture sector and from 21 to 55 years for non-agriculture sector.

Applicants who meet the requirements must apply online through the official Website https://tgobmmsnew.cgg.gov.in/ before the deadline, April 14, 2025.
The state government has advised to call on the toll-free number 18005992525 if you experience any issues with the online process. According to the notification, these services will only be accessible on working days from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm.
