Drop in Gold Rate Today in India After Rise of Rs 90,000; Check Latest 22K, 24K & 18K Gold Prices on 25 August
Gold rates in India eased on Tuesday after a sharp rally in the previous sessions, with rates trading in the red. After gaining around Rs 90,000 per 100 grams of 24 Karat gold since the rally began, prices slipped marginally today. The 24K gold rate fell by Rs 22 to Rs 16,375 per gram, while 22K gold declined Rs 20 to Rs 15,010 per gram and 18K gold dropped Rs 12 to Rs 12,281 per gram. Meanwhile, silver remained steady at Rs 260 per gram, or Rs 2,60,000 per kilogram.
Globally, gold prices also pulled back on Tuesday after touching their highest level in more than three months earlier in the session. Investors are now turning their attention to upcoming US inflation data and Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh's speech later this week for fresh clues on the outlook for interest rates and the precious metal.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
The price of 24 Karat gold stood at Rs 16,375 per gram, down Rs 22 from the previous rate. For larger quantities, 8 grams cost Rs 1,31,000, while 10 grams were priced at Rs 1,63,750. The rate for 100 grams stood at Rs 16,37,500, reflecting a decline of Rs 2,200.

22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
22 Karat Gold: The 22 Karat gold rate was Rs 15,010 per gram, lower by Rs 20. The price for 8 grams stood at Rs 1,20,080, while 10 grams cost Rs 1,50,100. For 100 grams, the rate was Rs 15,01,000, down Rs 2,000.
18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
18 Karat Gold: The price of 18 Karat gold was Rs 12,281 per gram, marking a decline of Rs 12. The rate for 8 grams stood at Rs 98,248, while 10 grams cost Rs 1,22,810. For 100 grams, the price was Rs 12,28,100, down Rs 1,200.
"Fed minutes showed deepening inflation concern, with several policymakers open to a rate hike if inflation doesn't ease toward 2%. Technically, gold broke out of its $4,340-$4,440 range to hit $4,500, eyeing $4,600 next; silver cleared its $66 double top toward $70-71," said Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd.
