The 24K gold rate in India stood at Rs 16,298 per gram today, down Rs 77 from the previous rate. For larger quantities, the price was Rs 1,30,384 for 8 grams, Rs 1,62,980 for 10 grams and Rs 16,29,800 for 100 grams, reflecting a decline of Rs 616, Rs 770 and Rs 7,700, respectively.
22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
The 22K gold rate was Rs 14,940 per gram, marking a daily decline of Rs 70. Buyers looking at standard quantities would pay Rs 1,19,520 for 8 grams, Rs 1,49,400 for 10 grams and Rs 14,94,000 for 100 grams, with corresponding declines of Rs 560, Rs 700 and Rs 7,000.
18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
The 18 Karat gold rate stood at Rs 12,224 per gram, lower by Rs 57. The price for 8 grams was Rs 97,792, while 10 grams cost Rs 1,22,240 and 100 grams was priced at Rs 12,22,400. These quantities registered declines of Rs 456, Rs 570 and Rs 5,700, respectively.

Silver prices remained unchanged in India today, with the rate holding at Rs 260 per gram, the same as yesterday. The price of 8 grams stands at Rs 2,080, while 10 grams is priced at Rs 2,600. For larger quantities, 100 grams of silver costs Rs 26,000, while 1 kilogram is priced at Rs 2,60,000. All these rates remain unchanged from the previous day's prices, indicating stability in the domestic silver market.
"Gold and silver are trading steady to bullish as markets weigh the U.S. Treasury's decision to double bond buyback operations, which pushed the dollar to a three-month low. Iran's renewed talks with Oman over Strait of Hormuz security eased oil prices, while IMF chief Kristalina Georgieva said the global economy has absorbed the Iran-related shock better than expected, though fiscal risks are rising in some countries," said Prithviraj Kothari, MD at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd.
