Elderly Village Man Holds Rs 10 Crore Shares In L&T, UltraTech, Karnataka Bank
A popular video of an elderly guy on Twitter (now X) has highlighted a humble man, dressed modestly in regional garb, who spoke to someone behind the camera in his native tongue in a popular social media post.
He revealed the names of the shares he owned and the matching investment amounts during this exchange.

A considerable amount of Rs 80 crore in L&T shares, Rs 21 crore in Ultratech cement shares, and an extra Rs 1 crore in Karnataka bank shares are reportedly held by the elderly man, according to the post. The elderly man said that he receives about Rs 6 lakh per annum in dividend income from his assets.
The tweet stated, "As they say, in investing, you have to be lucky once. He is holding shares worth ₹80 crores worth of L&T, ₹21 crores worth of Ultrtech cement shares, and ₹1 crore worth of Karnataka bank shares. Still leading a simple life."
However, other people questioned the data's accuracy. An X user named Mr. Deepak Shenoy, Founder and CEO, Capitalmind (according to the bio), commented below the video, "Bhai 27,000 L&T shares = 8 cr no? Similarly 3.2 cr. of Ultratech 10 lakh of Ktk bank It's a decent amount still. More power to him. But please consider blurring his face, such publicity usually doesn't do good esp for old people living a simple life."
