Elon Musk's X Shared Ad Revenue In Lakhs To Indian X Premium Subscribers, Users Share Detail

X (previously Twitter), owned by Elon Musk, has begun paying its X premium (previously Twitter Blue) users who have generated at least 15 million ad impressions in the past three months.

In July, X changed the name of its paid subscription service, Twitter Blue, to X Premium. The X Premium subscription is launched to help content producers monetize their work with ads. All X Premium members can take advantage of this chance.

The X Premium subscription costs Rs 900 per month. Users such as Gabbar Singh and other well-known Indian accounts with a significant number of followers have stated that they have received up to Rs 3 lakh as part of the ad-sharing programme.

Twitter users like Gabbar Singh (1.4 million followers) and Being Humor (381.6K followers) have recently shared screenshots of SMS messages from their individual banks confirming the receipt of payments from Musk's organisation.

To earn money on X, creators must first sign up for X Premium. They must also have 500 followers or more, and their postings must have received at least 15 million views in the previous three months.

"To be eligible for your ad revenue share, you must be an X Premium (Blue) subscriber. The ad money will otherwise be kept by X if you are not an X Premium (Blue) subscriber. This program is open to everyone," Musk tweeted.

In accordance with the rebranding, Twitter's iconic blue bird has been replaced with a large X. Also, Twitter Blue's official account has also changed to @Premium.
