US President Donald Trump has warned Iran not to attempt anything "bad," saying it would mark the "end of Iran." Reiterating that the military operation against Tehran has been a "tremendous success," Trump also said the war with Iran could be over "pretty quickly.
Speaking to CBS News, US President Donald Trump said that the Strait of Hormuz is now open for transportation ships. Meanwhile, he warned that it would be the end of the Islamic Republic of Iran if it attempted to retaliate in any way.

"They've shot everything they have to shoot, and they better not try anything cute, or it's going to be the end of that country...If they do anything bad, that would be the end of Iran, and you'd never hear the name again," CBS News quoted US President Trump as saying.
He also added that Iran has "no navy, no communications, and no air force", and its missiles and drone manufacturing facilities have also taken a hit.
Trump Says 'Iran War Will Be Over Very Soon'
Donald Trump mentioned about some unfinished business in the Middle East. During his press briefing on Monday, Trump told reporters that US still has targets in Iran, but they could be taken out in "one day" and the war will be over "very soon", reported BBC.
Trump's hint of the end of Iran was followed by a decline in crude oil prices after sharp surge on Monday.
Brent Crude Oil Falls 15%
Oil benchmarks reversed as Brent crude futures slumped from Monday's high. The contract had touched $119.50 a barrel, but by 0001 GMT traded around $91.71, a fall of $7.25 or about 7.3%.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude moved lower as well, dropping $6.12, or 6.5%, to $88.65. The declines showed sentiment shifting across global energy markets, where traders quickly reassessed worries about supply stability.
Traders reacted to comments from U.S. President Donald Trump suggesting the Middle East war may end soon. The remarks reduced expectations of long-lasting disruption to crude flows. Price action underlined how oil markets remain sensitive to geopolitical developments and any signals about future supply risks.
LPG Supply Crunch In India
Amid the escalating Middle East crisis due to US strikes on Iran, LPG supply in India has taken a massive hit. To deal with the situation, the Indian government has invoked emergency powers and directed refiners across the country to maximise production of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). The government orders came as a an attempt to prevent shortage of the cooking fuel after supply disruptions caused by the Middle East crisis. India was one of the world's second-biggest importer of LPG in the year 2025 as it consumed around 33.15 million metric tons of cooking gas.
"In light of current geopolitical disruptions to fuel supply and constraints on supply of LPG, Ministry has issued orders to oil refineries for higher LPG production and using such extra production for domestic LPG use," read a statement by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas issued on Monday, March 9.
