Fast Track Portal Launched in Punjab to Expedite Approvals for Industrialists

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal are set to unveil the FastTrack Punjab Portal. This initiative aims to provide investors with all necessary approvals within 45 days of application submission. Mann emphasised that these reforms mark the start of a movement where ease of doing business becomes ingrained in culture rather than just a slogan.

Punjab Launches Fast Track Portal for Investors

Mann highlighted Punjab's historical spirit of courage and enterprise, stating that the state is poised to lead India's industrial revival. He noted that the government is shifting from discretion to discipline, replacing delays with digital processes, and offering clarity over confusion. The system now focuses on being proactive, precise, and professional.

Industrial Growth and Investor Support

The Chief Minister assured that Punjab welcomes all industrialists, whether they are startup founders or established conglomerates, with integrity and intention. He stated that the state offers not just incentives but a supportive environment for entrepreneurs. Officers will act as facilitators rather than mere regulators, ensuring investors feel heard and supported.

To further support industrial growth, Mann announced a Rs 200 crore infrastructure fund. This fund aims to address last-mile gaps within industrial focal points, preventing any hindrance to industrial expansion. The government is also investing in industrial parks and unlocking land potential through policies like lease-to-freehold.

Streamlined Processes and Digital Integration

Mann explained that compliance processes have been made more intelligent through self-declaration and digital scrutiny. These measures are backed by legal certainty to ensure smooth operations for businesses. Escalation mechanisms are in place to guarantee action when needed, ensuring no investor feels ignored or stuck.

The state government is committed to creating new avenues for monetising industrial assets. By focusing on digital integration, the administration aims to eliminate red tape and streamline approval processes within a maximum of 45 days.

Mann concluded by reiterating the government's dedication to transforming Punjab into a hub of industrial activity. With these reforms, Punjab is set to become a leader in India's industrial resurgence, driven by its historical spirit of resilience and enterprise.
