First Golden Door At Ayodhya's Ram Mandir Installed, 13 More Golden Doors To Be Installed

The first golden door has been installed at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, setting the stage for the upcoming Pran Pratishtha ceremony. This 12-feet high and 8-feet wide door is the first among 46 doors that will adorn the temple, with 42 of them coated in an impressive 100 kg of gold.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a series of directives, emphasizing the significance of the event. Yesterday, he ordered the closure of all educational institutions in the state on January 22, the day slated for the grand inauguration of the Ram Temple. Adityanath referred to the event as a 'national festival' and stressed the need for government buildings to be adorned with decorations in honour of the auspicious day.

During his recent visit to Ayodhya, the Chief Minister outlined his vision for the city's cleanliness, directing officials to implement the 'Kumbh model of cleanliness.' Adityanath emphasized the importance of Ayodhya, also known as 'Ramnagari,' being the cleanest and most beautiful city, ensuring that roads are free from dust, and daily cleaning of public facilities is maintained.

Highlighting the urgency of ongoing development projects, CM Yogi instructed officials to adhere to high-quality standards and meet specified timeframes. With the inauguration expected to attract a surge in devotees and tourists after January 22, he made it abundantly clear that any form of negligence in executing these tasks would not be tolerated.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony, spanning seven days and commencing on January 16, will mark the consecration of the Ram Temple, a highly anticipated event that holds immense cultural and religious significance for millions of Indians. The installation of the golden doors adds a touch of grandeur to the temple, symbolizing the reverence and devotion associated with this sacred site.
