FMCG Company, Sarveshwar Foods Opens 2 More Procurement Centres In J&K; Details Here

Jammu-based company Sarveshwar Foods Limited extended its procurement reach by establishing two additional SFL Choupals (procurement facilitation centers) in Kulgam and Doda.

These two centers will facilitate the direct procurement of agricultural products such as Apple, Kalal Jeera walnuts, rajma, black morels (gucchi), and other products from local farmers & producers. The company shared the information via BSE and NSE on 31st January.

The company reported the move adds to its network of 12 SFL Choupals across the Jammu and Kashmir Region, aiming to streamline the procurement process and engage with farmers throughout the crop cycle.

The center is to provide information, including price discovery, agricultural know-how, and practices, contributing to improved farm productivity and income for local farmers.

Sarveshwar Foods is engaged in the business of manufacturing, trading, processing, and marketing branded and unbranded basmati and non-basmati rice in the domestic and international markets. It has a full range of organic products, with the brand name 'Nimbark'.

The Jammu-based company is an ISO and USFDA-certified company. It also has BRC (biggest global standard for food safety), Kosher, NPPO USA & CHINA along with NOP -USDA Organic certifications for its products. The company is listed on both BSE and NSE.

On Wednesday, the shares of Sarveshwar Foods closed on the BSE at Rs 7.27 apiece up by 0.41% from the previous close.
