Fortune's '40 Under 40' Influential People List Features Akash, Isha Ambani And Byju's Raveendran
Fortune's '40 Under 40′ list of influential people globally for the first time features Ambani scions Akash and Isha Ambani and Raveendran, edtech start-up company's founder. The magazine considering the support executives are lending to employees while at the same time facing the new ways of operating business said "To reflect this wave of transformation, we decided that we needed to embrace change in this year's 40 Under 40. We needed to go bigger - and search more".

Furthermore, in the list are covered people across 5 categories namely - finance, technology, healthcare, government and politics, and media and entertainment. In the tech space are placed both Ambani's and Raveendran and on RIL the magazine said "They say data is the new oil - and when it comes to Reliance Industries, India's largest company, that's literally the case".
Akash and Isha Ambani off late also facilitated the launch of JioMart; a competitor to Amazon and Flipkart given the rapid pace at which online shopping is being adopted across the length and breadth of the country given the pandemic.
Raveendran is on the other hand an example to the world which has set up a highly successful online edtech company. Byju's, as the company is known, has become India's biggest education technology company, helping millions of students prep and study for the most important exams of their lives while teaching them a thing or two about core topics like mathematics and science," it said. In August, Byju's acquired the coding major firm WhiteHat Jr for USD 300 million.
