Foxconn Explores Semiconductor Manufacturing Partnership With TSMC And TMH In India

Foxconn, a leading global electronics manufacturer, is currently engaged in discussions with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and Tokyo-based Toshiba Memory Holdings (TMH) to establish semiconductor manufacturing facilities in India, Reuters reported quoting ET on Friday.

Both TSMC and Foxconn are based in Taiwan. Foxconn has been in contact with the two businesses for a while, but this week it cancelled its joint venture to produce semiconductors with the Indian Vedanta Group.
