Fuel Prices On 16 September 2021: Rates Unchanged For 11th Day

On Thursday, the price of petrol and diesel remained unchanged. Petrol costs Rs 101.19 per litre in Delhi, while diesel costs Rs 88.62 per litre.

Petrol costs Rs 107.26 per litre in Mumbai, while diesel costs Rs 96.19 per litre. A litre of petrol costs Rs. 98.96 in Chennai. The price of a litre of diesel was Rs 93.26 on Thursday.

In Kolkata, a litre of petrol costs Rs 101.62, while a litre of diesel costs Rs 91.71. In Bhopal, a litre of petrol costs Rs 109.63 and a litre of diesel costs Rs 97.57.

The latest revision to the fuel pricing happened on July 17, according to data acquired from the Indian Oil Company's (IOC) app, after which no more changes were made. Since May 4, after Assembly elections in states and union territories such as West Bengal, Kerala, Assam, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry, petrol prices have risen across India.

The GST Council may propose bringing petrol and diesel under the GST regime.
