Fuel Prices Today On March 31: Rates Hiked Again For Ninth Time In 10 Days
Petrol and diesel rates today have again been hiked by 80 paise each in comparison to yesterday's rates. As per the price update by oil marketing companies, in Delhi petrol now costs Rs. 101.81, while diesel shall be available for Rs. 93.07 per litre.

In Mumbai, petrol and diesel prices have gone higher by 84 paise each to retail at Rs. 116.72 & Rs 100.94. In Chennai, the new rates for petrol and diesel are Rs. 107.45 and Rs. 97.52 per litre, respectively, after an increase of 76 paise on each. Likewise, petrol and diesel revised rates in Kolkata are at Rs. 111.35 and Rs.96.22 , respectively.
Fuel rates in the country ever since 2017 are revised by oil marketing and retailing companies including BPCL, HPCL and IOC at 6:00 am on a daily basis and thus have been following dynamic pricing model. The international rates as well as foreign exchange rate influence fuel rates in the domestic market.

As per Oilprice.com data, crude benchmarks have headed lower, with WTI crude trading with a cut of over 4% at $103.4 per bbl, while Brent crude also softened by over 3% to last trade at $109.4 per bbl.
