Fuel Rates At Record High As Brent Crude Hovers At 7-Yr. High Levels
Petrol and diesel prices have been continuously been hiked for third consecutive day today. The prices of both the fuel have saw an hike by 35 paise each.

State-run oil marketing companies including BPCL, HPCL and IOC began revising fuel rates on a daily basis on September 24 after international crude rates hit close to a 3-year high. Notably, now the crude prices internationally have hit 7-year high and fuel rates in the country have been kept unchanged after 7 consecutive days of hike.

International crude rates
The surge in domestic fuel price comes on the back of international crude rates which are at their 7-month high levels. In the current regime, brent crude is ruling at levels of USD 84.62 per bbl.
