Fuel Rates Hiked Again On October 22, 2021; Crude Rates Soften
Petrol and diesel prices remain at record high but are left unchanged on October 22, 2021. Fuel rates vary across states owing to the variation in implication of local taxes. Petrol rates have been increased by 35 paise in the city of Delhi
Here are the latest fuel rates as on October 22, 2021:

State-run oil marketing companies including BPCL, HPCL and IOC began revising fuel rates on a daily basis on September 24 after international crude rates hit close to a 3-year high. Notably, now the crude prices internationally have hit 7-year high and fuel rates in the country have been kept unchanged after 7 consecutive days of hike.

International crude rates
There was seen steadiness in crude rates internationally as there is a forecast of a warmer winter weather.Brent crude fell $1.21 to $84.61, after reaching a session high of $86.10, highest since October 2018. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude settled down 92 cents to $82.50.
