State-run oil marketing companies including BPCL, HPCL and IOC began revising fuel rates on a daily basis on September 24 after international crude rates hit close to a 3-year high. Notably, now the crude prices internationally have hit 7-year high and fuel rates in the country have been kept unchanged after 7 consecutive days of hike.

You can now fuel rates in your city by an SMS. As per the website of Indian oil, you would need to type RSP together with your city's code and send the same to the number 9224992249. For codes that are unique to each city, you can check the website of IOCL.

International crude rates

There was seen steadiness in crude rates internationally as there is a forecast of a warmer winter weather.Brent crude fell $1.21 to $84.61, after reaching a session high of $86.10, highest since October 2018. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude settled down 92 cents to $82.50.
