Petrol and diesel prices after record gains have been again hiked after two day and are at new record highs post the latest hike made today (October 27, 2021).

State-run oil marketing companies including BPCL, HPCL and IOC began revising fuel rates on a daily basis on September 24 after international crude rates hit close to a 3-year high. Notably, now the crude prices internationally have hit 7-year high and fuel rates in the country have been kept unchanged after 7 consecutive days of hike.

International crude rates
Stock piles world over have seen an unexpected rise in the US that is the world's leading consumer.. Brent oil futures fell 25 cents, or 0.3 per cent, to $86.15 a barrel after closing at the highest in seven years on Tuesday.
