Brent oil was last seen trading at $120.70, while WTI was trading at $113.90. Crude oil prices have remained unpredictable as the United States has enforced punishing restrictions on Russia as a result of Russia's war in Ukraine, which led crude oil prices to momentarily climb above $100 a barrel in late February.

ICICI Securities has said in a report that "Crude oil prices rallied during the week as traders weighed additional supply disruptions following reports of storm damage at a major export terminal system on the Black Sea and on decline in US crude oil stockpiles."
