Fuel Rates Today: Check Petrol & Diesel Price of Your City On 18th April 2022

After an aggregate hike of Rs 10 per litre on March 22, petrol and diesel prices in the country remained steady for the 12th day in a row on Monday. In New Delhi, the current petrol prices were Rs 105.41 per litre and diesel prices were Rs 96.67. Petrol will cost Rs 120.51 per litre in Mumbai today, while diesel will cost Rs 104.77. Petrol remained to sell for Rs 115.12 per litre in Kolkata, while diesel remained to sell at Rs 99.83 per litre. In Chennai, a litre of petrol will cost Rs 110.85 today, and diesel will cost Rs 100.94.

Petrol will cost Rs 105.56 per litre in Gurgaon today, while diesel will cost Rs 96.81 per litre. Today's petrol and diesel prices in Bangalore will stay steady at Rs 111.09 and Rs 94.79, respectively. Today, a litre of petrol will cost Rs 112.50 in Bhubaneswar, while a litre of diesel will cost Rs 102.24. The price of petrol in Chandigarh will remain steady at Rs 104.74 and the price of diesel will remain unchanged at Rs 90.83. Today, a litre of petrol will cost Rs 119.49 in Hyderabad, while a litre of diesel will cost Rs 105.49.

Crude Oil prices increased on Monday, despite rising global concerns. Brent crude futures were up $1.30, or 1.16 percent, to $113 a barrel, while WTI Crude futures were up 1.02 percent to $108 per barrel. The ongoing Russia-Ukraine confrontation has pushed crude oil prices above $100 and considering India's dependency on oil imports (it imports over 80% of its crude oil), economic volatility will remain in force.
