Due to mounting supply and demand concerns, crude oil prices in the international market are weaker on Monday. At the time of writing, WTI Crude oil was trading at $99.24 per barrel, while Brent Crude oil futures and indexes were trading at $103.70 per barrel. Commodities in the international market fell in Friday's closing session, driven down by the US dollar, rising COVID cases in China as well as global economic uncertainties. As a result, the movement in the US currency, bond rates, equities, and the Federal Reserve's monetary approach may continue to influence commodities in the international market, resulting in ongoing volatility and a negative impact on domestic pricing and severe exposure of the country to global commodities pricing and supply issues.

Owing to the continued volatility in the international market, global commodities prices may see further upside due to the restriction on Russian oil imports, which would further constrain the global oil market, and even the ambiguity between Russia and Ukraine, crude volatility is predicted to stay strong.
