Fuel Rates Today: Check Petrol & Diesel Rates On April 22, 2022

On Friday, April 22, 2022, oil marketing companies (OMC) around the country held their fuel rates stable for the 16th day in a row. In Delhi, the price of petrol is Rs 105.41 a litre, while the price of diesel is Rs 96.67. Petrol currently costs Rs 120.51 in Mumbai, while diesel costs Rs 104.77. Petrol prices in Kolkata are constant today at Rs 115.12 per litre, while diesel prices are unchanged at Rs 99.83 per litre. Petrol will cost Rs 110.85 per litre in Chennai, while diesel will cost Rs 100.94. The price of petrol and diesel per litre in Bangalore has remained steady at Rs 111.09 and Rs 94.79, respectively.

Fuel prices in Bhubaneswar will remain steady today, with petrol at Rs 112.94 per litre and diesel at Rs 102.67 per litre. Petrol will cost Rs 104.74 per litre in Chandigarh today, while diesel will cost Rs 90.83. Today's petrol and diesel prices in Hyderabad are Rs 119.49 and Rs 105.49, respectively.

Crude prices started in turbulent trade on Friday as worries about supply arose as a result of a possible embargo on Russian oil. Brent Crude fell 0.61 per cent to $107.7 per barrel while writing this news, whereas WTI Crude fell 0.66 per cent to $103.1 per barrel. Fuel costs in the country vary from state to state due to local taxes (VAT), freight charges, and excise duty on fuels levied by the central government. Fuel price adjustments in the domestic market are expected in the coming days since global fuel costs are now above $ 107 and demand has been hit badly.
