Fuel Rates Unchanged Yet Again On November 13, 2021; Crude Continues To Decline
Petrol and diesel prices across the country on November 13, 2021 are constant for the ninth day in a row today. The fuel rates have reduced after the excise duty cut. Petrol rate in the country saw a reduction in price by Rs. 7-8, while for diesel rates came down by Rs. 11-13 per litre.

Since mid June 2017, fuel rates in the country are revised on a daily basis at 6 am and thus have been following dynamic pricing model. The international rates as well as foreign exchange rate influence fuel rates in the domestic market.
International crude rates
Gains in the dollar pushed crude rates downward with WTI crude at $80.68 per barrel. Furthermore, there have been threats of the US intervention in the oil market, as also the downgraded demand forecast for the commodity by the OPEC. In its monthly report, OPEC expects demand to go down by 3.3 lakh million barrels in the last quarter of 2021 in comparison to the forecast for the last month.
