Gas Cylinder Booking Rules Of 45 Days & 25 Days; How To Book Indane, Bharat Gas, HP Gas Via WhatsApp, SMS?

The rules for booking gas cylinders have been changed this month due to a supply shortage. The Middle East war has emerged as fatal for the global economy as oil and gas supplies are at risk at the chokepoint, the Strait of Hormuz.

The government has revised LPG booking rules twice to tackle hoarding, surge in black market purchases and ensure proper allocation of gas cylinders to households.

New Gas Cylinder Booking Rules:

The government has announced a 45-days lock-in period for purchasing or refilling LPGs. However, this rule is only applicable for rural consumers.

Hence, the rule of 25-days lock-in period still applies to urban areas consumers. Earlier, the general gap to book a refill for LPG was 21 days but was changed after LPG prices were hiked on March 7th.
