Gautam Hari Singhania's Super Car Club Hosts Three-Day Automobile Carnival in Thane

Gautam Hari Singhania's Super Car Club Garage is set to host a three-day automobile festival in Thane district. The event will feature over 500 supercars and bikes, including the iconic Audi 100 owned by former cricketer Ravi Shastri. Shastri won this car during the Benson & Hedges World Championship of Cricket in Australia in 1985.

The Raymond 100 Autofest, starting on Friday, marks the centenary of the Raymond Group. This event will showcase rare engineering marvels, reflecting India's evolving automotive culture by blending heritage with modern innovations. A statement highlighted these aspects of the festival.

Global Racing Icons and Motorsport Veterans

Renowned racing figures Mika Häkkinen and Narain Karthikeyan will attend the event, along with motorsport veteran Gaurav Gill. The centrepiece of the festival will be Ravi Shastri's Audi 100, which has been restored by the Super Car Club Garage (SCCG).

The third-generation Audi 100, which debuted internationally around 1982, was declared a national asset by Shastri. This declaration followed Gautam Singhania's handover of the restored vehicle to him in July 2022. Singhania serves as Chairman and Managing Director of Raymond Group.

Celebrating Passion and Ingenuity

Singhania established the club in November 2020. He stated, "The Raymond 100 Autofest is more than a showcase of automobiles; it's a celebration of passion, ingenuity and our deep connection with the community. This event encapsulates our ethos of excellence and evolution, much like the automotive world we're celebrating – a perfect ode to our remarkable 100-year journey."

The festival aims to highlight India's rich automotive history while embracing contemporary advancements. It promises to be an engaging experience for car enthusiasts and the general public alike.
