Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the two-day Global Investors Summit on December 8 at the Forest Research Institute in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The announcement was made by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday at the Destination Uttarakhand Energy Conclave, which is being held as part of the summit.

Dhami Seeks Guidance from PM Modi for State's Development

Dhami said that he has been receiving constant guidance from Prime Minister Modi in matters related to the state's development. He also mentioned that the concept of Destination Uttarakhand is modeled upon Vibrant Gujarat, a successful investment summit held in Gujarat.

MoUs Worth Rs 40,000 Crore Signed at Energy Conclave

During the Energy Conclave, MoUs worth over Rs 40,000 crore were signed, showcasing the investment potential in Uttarakhand's power sector. The Chief Minister emphasized that the state is full of investment opportunities.

Preparations in Full Swing for the Summit

Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, along with acting DGP Abhinav Kumar, visited the summit venue on Tuesday to take stock of the preparations. They instructed officials to tighten security arrangements in view of the Prime Minister's visit. Adequate parking arrangements and a well-planned route diversion plan were also discussed to minimize inconvenience to the public.

Summit Aims to Attract Investments to Uttarakhand

The two-day event aims to bring investments to the state and will conclude on December 9. Chief Minister Dhami has held several roadshows in leading Indian cities, as well as in London and Birmingham in the UK, to lure investments and invite investors to attend the summit. The city of Dehradun has been decked up to host the event.

The Global Investors Summit in Dehradun is a significant event aimed at attracting investments and fostering economic growth in Uttarakhand.
