Go First Extends Flight Cancellations Until June 12, Ensures Full Refunds For Passengers

Crisis-hit airline Go First has announced an extension of its flight cancellations until June 12. This decision comes as the company strives to overcome challenges and ensure a safer and more reliable travel experience for its passengers.

The airline has declared that its scheduled flight operations would be cancelled until June 12, and that passengers will receive a full refund. It was originally scheduled to last until June 9.

"We acknowledge the flight cancellations might have disrupted your travel plans and we are committed to providing all the assistance we can," Go First said in a tweet.

The airline operator filed for voluntary insolvency in early May, and its activities have been halted since then.

The DGCA, the civil aviation regulator, had urged the airline to submit a thorough restructuring or resurrection plan within 30 days. The regulator will assess Go First's resurrection plan once it has been filed for further appropriate action in the situation.
