Godfrey Phillips India Ltd Reports 6.41% Increase In Net Profit For Q4, 2023

Godfrey Phillips India Ltd announced a 6.41 percent increase in total net profit to Rs 110.54 crore for the quarter ended March 2023 on Saturday. Godfrey Phillips India reported a net profit of Rs 103.88 crore in the January-March quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing.

Its revenue from operations increased 14.33 percent to Rs 968.40 crore in the current fiscal quarter, compared to Rs 846.95 crore in the previous fiscal period.

Godfrey Phillips' total expenses were Rs 869.01 crore, up 17.8 percent from Rs 737.72 crore in Q4/FY 23.

It earned Rs 874.15 crore from cigarettes, tobacco, and associated products.

It claimed revenue from retail and allied items was Rs 100.98 crore, up from Rs 83.52 crore in the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal.

Godfrey Phillips runs the 24Seven convenience store chain.

Godfrey Phillips India's net profit for the fiscal year ending March 2023 increased 38.52 percent to Rs 606.82 crore. In the preceding fiscal year, it earned a net profit of Rs 438.06 crore. In 2022-23, its operational revenue was Rs 4,227.77 crore. This is 32.4 percent more than the previous year's figure of Rs 3,193.38 crore.
