Gold prices in Delhi hit a fresh record high today, continuing a sharp rally over the past three days. The sustained demand for gold has pushed prices in Delhi and across India to all-time highs, with both 24 Karat and 22 Karat gold witnessing daily gains. On 21 January 2026, 24 Karat gold surged to Rs 15,495 per gram, up Rs 504 from the previous day, while 22 Karat gold rose to Rs 14,205 per gram, gaining Rs 460.
In just three days, 24 Karat gold in Delhi jumped by around Rs 110,200 for 100 grams. The sharp increase comes amid rising geopolitical tensions and global uncertainty, as investors sought safe-haven assets following U.S. President Donald Trump's threat of fresh tariffs on countries resisting the transfer of Greenland to the United States.
