Gold Prices In Bangalore: Latest Price Of 24K, 18k, 22K Gold On July 5 After Sharp Jump Of Rs 7,100

Gold prices in the silicon city aka Bangalore remained steady on July 5 after a sharp jump of Rs 5,300 to Rs 7,100 in the previous day. The performance can be attributed to mild-profit booking in yellow metal globally after a solid rally. The cheapest gold is at Rs 5,482, and the most expensive yellow metal to buy is at Rs 7,30,900 in the city.

Gold Prices In Bangalore On July 5:

24K gold price in Bangalore is at Rs 7,30,900 for 100 grams, at Rs 73,090 for 10 grams, at Rs 58,472 in 8 grams, and Rs 7,309 for 1 gram on July 5. The prices were unchanged from the previous day. However, on July 4th, 24K/100 grams of yellow metal surged by Rs 7,100 in Bangalore, and that of 10 grams was up by Rs 710.

Meanwhile, gold price in 22K stood at Rs 6,70,000 on July 5 for 100 grams, at Rs 67,000 for 10 grams, at Rs 53,600 for 8 grams and at Rs 6,700 for 1 gram. Prices were up by Rs 6,500 in 22K/100 grams on July 4, while 10 grams was up by Rs 650.

Finally, 18K gold is available at Rs 5,48,200 in 100 grams, Rs 54,820 in 10 grams, Rs 43,856 in 8 grams, and Rs 5,482 for 1 gram on Friday. On the previous day, gold prices surged by Rs 5,300 for 18K/100 grams and up by Rs 530 for 10 grams of the same carat.

Silver Prices In Bangalore On July 5:

1 kg of silver jumped by Rs 100 to Rs 90,700, while 100 grams is up by Rs 10 to Rs 9,070 on July 5. Further, 10 grams is up by Re 1 to Rs 907. Lastly, 8 grams and 1 gram of silver edged higher by Rs 0.80 and Rs 0.10 to Rs 725.60 and Rs 90.70 respectively.

Rahul Kalantri, VP of Commodities, Mehta Equities said, "Gold and silver showed mild profit-taking in the international markets after a solid rally in the previous session. The U.S. market was closed due to the Independence Day holiday, resulting in a thin volume session. Traders also booked profits ahead of the U.S. job reports. However, overall factors are still favourable for gold and silver."

Moreover, Kalantri added that the dollar index slipped below 105, U.S. economic data released this week was weaker than expected, geopolitical tensions are escalating in the Middle East, and the U.S. Fed Chairman's comments were more dovish than anticipated. We expect gold and silver to maintain their bullish momentum in the upcoming sessions.

Looking ahead, Kalantri said, "Gold has support at $2,342-$2,326 and resistance at $2,378-$2,391. Silver has support at $30.28-$30.10 and resistance at $30.74-$30.92. In INR, gold has support at Rs 72,070-Rs 71,910 and resistance at Rs 72,620-Rs 71,810. Silver has support at Rs 89,440-Rs 88,880 and resistance at Rs 90,740-Rs 91,220."
