Gold Rate in India Falls Again After Rs 10,000 Gain on 3 September; Check 24K, 22K, 18K Gold & Silver Prices
Gold rates in India continued their downward trend on Saturday, October 3, the last trading day of the week, with 24 Karat gold falling Rs 110 to Rs 14,918 per gram. 22 Karat gold declined Rs 100 to Rs 13,675 per gram, while 18 Karat gold slipped Rs 82 to Rs 11,189 per gram.
Gold Falls Again After Big Rs 10,000 Jump; Silver Price At Rs 2,35,000/kg
The latest decline comes after gold had posted a sharp jump of more than Rs 10,000 per 100 grams of 24 Karat gold. The precious metal has now come under pressure despite having remained relatively supported through the previous week, even as the US dollar strengthened and bond yields continued to rise.
Meanwhile, silver prices in India stood at Rs 235 per gram, or Rs 2,35,000 per kilogram, on Saturday.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
The 24K gold rate today is Rs 14,918 per gram, down Rs 110 from the previous price. Buyers looking at 8 grams will have to pay Rs 1,19,344, while 10 grams is priced at Rs 1,49,180. For larger purchases, 100 grams of 24K gold costs Rs 14,91,800, reflecting a decline of Rs 11,000.
22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
For 22K gold, the price has fallen to Rs 13,675 per gram, a drop of Rs 100. The rate for 8 grams stands at Rs 1,09,400, whereas 10 grams is available for Rs 1,36,750. The price of 100 grams has declined by Rs 10,000 and now stands at Rs 13,67,500.
18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
The 18K gold price has also moved lower, with the rate at Rs 11,189 per gram, down Rs 82. The cost of 8 grams is Rs 89,512, while 10 grams comes to Rs 1,11,890. For 100 grams, the price stands at Rs 11,18,900, following a Rs 8,200 fall.

The silver price in India remained unchanged today at Rs 235 per gram, with no movement from the previous day. The price of 8 grams stood at Rs 1,880, while 10 grams was available at Rs 2,350. 100 grams of silver was priced at Rs 23,500, unchanged from yesterday. The rate for 1 kilogram remained steady at Rs 2,35,000, with no change recorded.
"Gold and silver slid further as traders waited on the US jobs report, with monthly losses of 8.5% and 13.5%. The dollar hit a three-month high on rising Treasury yields, while fresh uncertainty over the Iran ceasefire talks kept inflation worries very much alive," said Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of IBJA.
