The domestic rally mirrored strength in international bullion markets, where spot gold firmed on Friday and remained on course for its biggest weekly gain since January. The precious metal found support from softer crude oil prices, while investors remained focused on the release of the closely watched US non-farm payrolls report, which could provide fresh signals on the US Federal Reserve's interest rate trajectory.

The price of 24K gold rose across all denominations on Friday. One gram of 24K gold increased by Rs 16 to Rs 14,989, while 8 grams gained Rs 128 to Rs 1,19,912. The price of 10 grams climbed Rs 160 to Rs 1,49,890, while 100 grams advanced Rs 1,600 to Rs 14,98,900.
22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
The price of 22K gold also moved higher, with 1 gram rising Rs 15 to Rs 13,740 and 8 grams gaining Rs 120 to Rs 1,09,920. Meanwhile, 10 grams increased Rs 150 to Rs 1,37,400, while 100 grams climbed Rs 1,500 to Rs 13,74,000.

Similarly, 18K gold recorded gains, with 1 gram rising Rs 12 to Rs 11,242 and 8 grams increasing Rs 96 to Rs 89,936. The price of 10 grams advanced Rs 120 to Rs 1,12,420, while 100 grams gained Rs 1,200 to Rs 11,24,200.

Meanwhile, 10 grams continued to trade at Rs 2,400, 100 grams at Rs 24,000, and 1 kilogram (1,000 grams) remained unchanged at Rs 2,40,000, with no change recorded across any denomination compared with the previous trading session.
"July's ADP report showed just 44,000 private-sector jobs added - the weakest since January - pulling the market-implied odds of a September Fed rate move to 57% from 67%.
