Gold rates in India continued their upward streak for the third straight session this week, rising sharply just days ahead of Akshaya Tritiya 2026. The yellow metal has now gained a total of Rs 311 per gram in 24K gold over the past three days, translating into a strong jump of Rs 31,100 per 100 grams.

The rally comes as gold recovers from the previous session's dip, supported by improving global sentiment, with investors tracking renewed US-Iran negotiations that could ease inflation concerns and further strengthen demand for the safe-haven metal.
