The latest trading session saw gold rates slip further, with 24 Karat (24K) gold priced at Rs 15,310 per gram, down by Rs 60 from the previous day. Similarly, 22 Karat (22K) gold fell to Rs 14,035 per gram, registering a decline of Rs 55.

Over the past three days, the correction in gold has been sharp. The price of 24K gold has dropped by nearly Rs 23,400 per 100 grams, highlighting the intensity of the recent sell-off. Market sentiment has remained cautious, with investors reacting to global developments, including elevated crude oil prices and stalled U.S.-Iran peace talks, which have raised concerns over inflation and prolonged higher interest rates.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi
Breaking it down further, 24K gold in Delhi stood at Rs 15,310 per gram on April 24, compared to Rs 15,370 a day earlier. For larger quantities, 8 grams of 24K gold cost Rs 1,22,480, down by Rs 480, while 10 grams were priced at Rs 1,53,100, reflecting a drop of Rs 600. On a bulk scale, 100 grams of 24K gold was valued at Rs 15,31,000, marking a decline of Rs 6,000 from the previous session.
22 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi
For 22K gold, commonly used in jewellery, the price also saw a downward movement. The rate for 1 gram stood at Rs 14,035, down from Rs 14,090. For 8 grams, the price was Rs 1,12,280, a fall of Rs 440, while 10 grams were priced at Rs 1,40,350, down by Rs 550. Meanwhile, 100 grams of 22K gold came in at Rs 14,03,500, declining by Rs 5,500.
18 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi
18 Karat gold also followed the same trend. The price per gram was recorded at Rs 11,486, slipping by Rs 45 compared to the previous day. For 8 grams, the rate stood at Rs 91,888, down Rs 360, while 10 grams were priced at Rs 1,14,860, reflecting a fall of Rs 450. On a larger scale, 100 grams of 18K gold was valued at Rs 11,48,600, down by Rs 4,500.

In contrast to gold, silver prices in Delhi remained steady on Friday after witnessing a sharp decline in the previous session. The metal was priced at Rs 260 per gram and Rs 2,60,000 per kilogram, unchanged from the previous day. Notably, silver had fallen by Rs 10,000 per kilogram in the prior session, and the current stability suggests a pause after the recent correction.
Across quantities, silver rates held firm, with 8 grams priced at Rs 2,080, 10 grams at Rs 2,600, and 100 grams at Rs 26,000, all unchanged compared to Thursday's levels.
"Gold and Silver prices slipped weighed down by a firm U.S. dollar, Yields and persistent uncertainty around the Middle East conflict, as markets remained cautious over the prospects of fresh U.S.-Iran peace talks. Bullion struggled for direction after President Trump announced an indefinite ceasefire extension, but with no clear diplomatic progress," said Manav Modi Commodities Analyst Motilal Oswal Financial services Ltd.
