Gold Rate Today in India Declines on 7 September 2026: Check Latest 22K, 24K, 18K Gold & Silver Prices
Gold rates in India resumed their decline on Monday, September 7, with prices slipping further in the domestic market. The latest movement has put gold in the red at the start of the new week, while silver prices remained unchanged.
The 24K gold rate fell by Rs 65 to Rs 15,415 per gram, while 22K gold declined by Rs 60 to Rs 14,130 per gram. Meanwhile, silver continued to trade at Rs 250 per gram, or Rs 2,50,000 per kilogram.
Globally, gold prices edged lower as stronger-than-expected US jobs data strengthened expectations that the US Federal Reserve could raise interest rates this month. Higher interest rates can weigh on demand for non-yielding assets such as gold, putting pressure on bullion prices.
