Gold Rate Today In India Falls After 3-Day Surge; 24K Gold Price Drops By Rs. 4,440 Per 100g On May 22
Bringing some relief to the retail buyers, the gold rate in India today corrected on Friday after the recent rally. The yellow metal prices had surged nearly 2.3% or around Rs. 37,100 per kilogram in recent days, due to global uncertainty and safe-haven buying.

In the domestic retail market, 22-carat gold prices eased marginally as high prices impacted jewellery demand across major outlets. Gold rate today declined in the top cities, including Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Delhi.
The correction in domestic bullion prices is due to the weakness in the international market, where traders turned cautious in response to mixed geopolitical and macroeconomic signals.
