Gold rates in India extended their gains for the second straight day on Saturday, September 19, 2026, with 24 Karat (24K) gold rising by Rs 142 per gram to Rs 15,584. The latest move has pushed the price of 24 Karat gold up by a cumulative Rs 30,000 per 100 grams over the past two sessions, giving the yellow metal fresh momentum as lower oil prices eased concerns over inflation and helped gold climb to a one-week high.

The rally was also visible across other purity levels. 22 Karat (22K) gold advanced Rs 130 to Rs 14,285 per gram, while 18 Karat (18K) gold increased by Rs 106 to Rs 11,688 per gram. Silver joined the upward move for a second consecutive day, with the price rising to Rs 255 per gram or Rs 2,55,000 per kilogram in India.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
The price of 24 Karat gold has climbed to Rs 15,584 per gram, marking a daily increase of Rs 142. For larger quantities, the rate stands at Rs 1,24,672 for 8 grams and Rs 1,55,840 for 10 grams. Buyers looking at 100 grams will now pay Rs 15,58,400, which is Rs 14,200 higher than the previous rate.
22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
22 Karat gold is currently priced at Rs 14,285 per gram, up Rs 130 from the previous session. The price for 8 grams has risen to Rs 1,14,280, while 10 grams costs Rs 1,42,850. For 100 grams, the latest rate is Rs 14,28,500, reflecting a gain of Rs 13,000.
18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
For 18 Karat gold, the rate has moved up by Rs 106 to Rs 11,688 per gram. The price for 8 grams is now Rs 93,504, while 10 grams is available at Rs 1,16,880. On a 100-gram basis, the rate stands at Rs 11,68,800, representing an increase of Rs 10,600 from the previous price.

Silver prices in India continued their upward movement, with the rate rising by Rs 5 per gram to Rs 255. The price of 8 grams has increased by Rs 40 to Rs 2,040, while 10 grams now costs Rs 2,550, up Rs 50 from the previous rate.
For larger quantities, the price of 100 grams of silver has climbed by Rs 500 to Rs 25,500. Meanwhile, the rate of 1 kilogram has risen by Rs 5,000 to Rs 2,55,000, compared with Rs 2,50,000 previously.
"Gold faces key support near $4,275 and resistance around $4,430-4,500, with a break lower opening the path to $4,150. Silver's Head and Shoulders pattern puts $62.5 support in focus - a breakdown could send prices toward $60 and $57, while $67 caps near-term gains," said Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of IBJA.
