Gold Rate Today in India Rebounds After Rs 75,000 Crash! Silver Rises; Check Latest Bullion Prices on 26 June

Gold rates in India witnessed a mild recovery on Friday, June 26, after suffering a massive correction over the previous three trading sessions. The price of 24 Karat gold rose by Rs 27 to Rs 14,160 per gram, while 22 Karat gold gained Rs 25 to Rs 12,980 per gram.

The uptick comes after gold prices had tumbled by more than Rs 75,000 per 100 grams over the last three days, marking one of the sharpest declines seen in recent months.

Silver rates in India also rebounded sharply alongside gold. The white metal climbed by Rs 5 per gram to Rs 240 per gram, while the price of silver per kilogram surged Rs 5,000 to Rs 2,40,000, recovering a significant portion of the recent losses.

The recovery in domestic bullion prices mirrors a stabilisation in international markets. According to a Bloomberg report, gold steadied near $4,000 an ounce after softer inflation data reduced expectations of further interest rate hikes.

Even so, the precious metal remains under significant pressure globally, with gold trading around 30% below its all-time high recorded in January 2026 and hovering near a seven-month low. Silver has witnessed an even steeper correction, falling by more than 50% from its peak as investors continue to reassess demand for safe-haven assets.

The price of 24 Karat gold in India today increased to Rs 14,160 per gram, up Rs 27 from the previous session. Accordingly, 8 grams of 24K gold was priced at Rs 1,13,280, registering a gain of Rs 216, while 10 grams rose by Rs 270 to Rs 1,41,600. For bulk buyers, 100 grams of 24 Karat gold was valued at Rs 14,16,000, up Rs 2,700.

22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

The price of 22 Karat gold also moved higher, climbing Rs 25 to Rs 12,980 per gram. The price of 8 grams stood at Rs 1,03,840, an increase of Rs 200, while 10 grams was priced at Rs 1,29,800, up Rs 250. Meanwhile, 100 grams of 22K gold cost Rs 12,98,000, reflecting a rise of Rs 2,500.

18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

The 18 Karat gold rate today advanced by Rs 20 to Rs 10,620 per gram. The price of 8 grams increased by Rs 160 to Rs 84,960, while 10 grams rose Rs 200 to Rs 1,06,200. For 100 grams, the price stood at Rs 10,62,000, marking an increase of Rs 2,000 over the previous day.

Silver prices in India also moved higher today, with the metal rising by Rs 5 per gram to Rs 240 per gram from Rs 235 in the previous session. Accordingly, 8 grams of silver was priced at Rs 1,920, up Rs 40, while 10 grams increased by Rs 50 to Rs 2,400. The price of 100 grams climbed Rs 500 to Rs 24,000, while 1 kilogram of silver surged by Rs 5,000 to Rs 2,40,000, reflecting a broad-based recovery in precious metal prices.

Gold, Silver Price Forecast After PCE Data

"Thursday's PCE data remains the next key catalyst. Technically, gold has broken $4,000 support (~ Rs 1,40,000), with downside risk to $3,600 (~ Rs 1,30,000), while silver has broken $60 (~ Rs 2,20,000), eyeing $50 (~ Rs 2,00,000). Oversold readings suggest short-covering bounces are possible near term," said Mr. Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of IBJA.
