The recovery comes after 24 Karat gold rates fell by Rs 25,100 per 100 grams over the last two days. Silver prices remained unchanged at Rs 250 per gram and Rs 2,50,000 per kilogram.

International gold prices continued to be influenced by a dollar holding near a two-month high, while markets also tracked US President Donald Trump's threat to annihilate Iran alongside his suggestion that a deal could be possible soon. Meanwhile, Federal Reserve Governor Michelle Bowman said she supported a rate hike, adding to the focus on the US interest-rate outlook.

Leading the move higher, 24 Karat gold is priced at Rs 15,420 per gram after gaining Rs 87. The rate has moved up to Rs 1,23,360 for 8 grams and Rs 1,54,200 for 10 grams. At 100 grams, the price stands at Rs 15,42,000.

22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

22 Karat gold is trading at Rs 14,135 per gram, up Rs 80 from the previous rate. The price for 8 grams stands at Rs 1,13,080, while 10 grams costs Rs 1,41,350. The rate for 100 grams has increased to Rs 14,13,500.

18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

The 18 Karat category has also recorded an upward movement, with prices reaching Rs 11,565 per gram after a Rs 65 increase. The price for 8 grams is Rs 92,520, while 10 grams is priced at Rs 1,15,650. For 100 grams, the rate is Rs 11,56,500.

Silver Rate Today: Check Latest Silver Prices Per Kg and Gram on September 23, 2026

Silver prices in India remained unchanged across all major quantities. The price of silver stands at Rs 250 per gram, the same as yesterday. For 8 grams, the rate is Rs 2,000, while 10 grams of silver costs Rs 2,500. For larger quantities, 100 grams of silver is priced at Rs 25,000, unchanged from the previous day. The price of 1 kilogram of silver stands at Rs 2,50,000, with no change compared with yesterday.

"Precious metals are being pulled in opposite directions by currency, oil and monetary policy forces. The US Federal Reserve raised its policy rate to 4.00% on September 16, while officials continue to highlight elevated inflation, keeping US yields and the dollar relatively supportive. This is currently limiting gold's upside; gold has recently retreated from its August peak," said Ruchit Thakur, Market Analyst, VT Markets.
