After witnessing a slight decline in the previous session, gold prices in India rebounded on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, with both 24 Karat and 22 Karat rates gaining. The 24K gold rate rose by Rs 120 to Rs 15,535 per gram, while 22K gold climbed Rs 110 to Rs 14,240 per gram, recovering from yesterday's fall of Rs 65 and Rs 60, respectively.

Meanwhile, silver remained steady at Rs 250 per gram or Rs 2,50,000 per kilogram on Tuesday. Gold edged higher as the US dollar weakened further against the yen, making the dollar-priced precious metal more competitive for buyers.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

The 24K gold price in India is Rs 15,535 per gram, up by Rs 120. For 8 grams, the rate stands at Rs 1,24,280, rising by Rs 960. For 10 grams, 24K gold is priced at Rs 1,55,350, up by Rs 1,200, while 100 grams is priced at Rs 15,53,500, higher by Rs 12,000.

22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

The 22K gold price is Rs 14,240 per gram, gaining Rs 110. The rate for 8 grams stands at Rs 1,13,920, up by Rs 880. For 10 grams, 22K gold is priced at Rs 1,42,400, rising by Rs 1,100, while 100 grams costs Rs 14,24,000, an increase of Rs 11,000.

18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

The 18K gold price stands at Rs 11,651 per gram, up by Rs 90. For 8 grams, the rate is Rs 93,208, higher by Rs 720. The price for 10 grams is Rs 1,16,510, gaining Rs 900, while 100 grams of 18K gold is priced at Rs 11,65,100, up by Rs 9,000.

Silver Rate Today: Check Latest Silver Prices Per Kg and Gram on 8 September 2026

The silver price in India remains unchanged across all quantities. Silver is priced at Rs 250 per gram, the same as yesterday, with no change in the rate. For 8 grams, silver is priced at Rs 2,000, unchanged from yesterday. The price for 10 grams stands at Rs 2,500, also unchanged.

For 100 grams, the silver rate is Rs 25,000, with no change from the previous day. Meanwhile, 1 kilogram (1,000 grams) of silver is priced at Rs 2,50,000, remaining steady compared with yesterday.

"Gold: Resistance at $4,550-4,570; support at $4,300-4,320, the level that needs to hold.
Silver: Upside potential toward $68-69 on any risk-off move; first meaningful support at $63-64 if sentiment weaken," said Prithviraj Kothari, MD at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd.
