Gold Rate Today in India Recovers After Rs 10,900 Fall; Check Latest 24K, 22K, 18K Gold and Silver Prices

Gold rates in India posted a marginal recovery on Saturday, September 12, after suffering a sharp fall of Rs 10,900 per 100 grams of 24 Karat (24K) gold in the previous session. The price of 24 Karat (24K) gold rose Rs 16 to Rs 15,458 per gram, while 22 Karat (22K) gold gained Rs 15 to Rs 14,170 per gram and 18 Karat (18K) gold increased Rs 12 to Rs 11,594 per gram.

Meanwhile, silver prices stood at Rs 245 per gram and Rs 2,45,000 per kilogram. The precious metals market is attempting to stabilise after recent losses, although strong US inflation data has strengthened expectations of a Federal Reserve interest rate hike next week.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

The price of 24K gold increased by Rs 16 to Rs 15,458 per gram on Saturday. For 8 grams, the rate stood at Rs 1,23,664, up Rs 128 from the previous session. Buyers looking at 10 grams would pay Rs 1,54,580, reflecting a gain of Rs 160. Meanwhile, the price of 100 grams climbed Rs 1,600 to Rs 15,45,800.

22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

Meanwhile, 22 Karat gold recorded a Rs 15 increase, taking its price to Rs 14,170 per gram. The rate for 8 grams rose Rs 120 to Rs 1,13,360, while 10 grams of the precious metal was priced at Rs 1,41,700, higher by Rs 150. For 100 grams, the price stood at Rs 14,17,000 after gaining Rs 1,500.

18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

For 18 Karat gold, the rate moved up Rs 12 to Rs 11,594 per gram. The price of 8 grams increased by Rs 96 to Rs 92,752, while 10 grams rose Rs 120 to Rs 1,15,940. At the 100-gram level, 18 Karat gold was available at Rs 11,59,400, marking a daily increase of Rs 1,200.

Silver prices remained unchanged across all quantities on Saturday. The price of silver stood at Rs 245 per gram, the same as the previous day. For 8 grams, the rate was Rs 1,960, with no change recorded.

The price of 10 grams of silver remained steady at Rs 2,450, while 100 grams continued to cost Rs 24,500. For larger quantities, 1 kilogram of silver was priced at Rs 2,45,000, unchanged from the previous session.

"Technically, gold is expected to trade between $4,300-$4,500, while silver holds within $63-$68, with a breakout needed for a decisive directional move," said Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd.
