Gold Rate Today in India Recovers After Sharp Fall; Check Latest 22K, 24K & 18K Gold Prices on 10 September
Gold rates in India recovered on Thursday, September 10, after witnessing a sharp one-day fall of Rs 10,400 per 100 grams for 24 Karat gold. The 24K gold rate rose by Rs 120 to Rs 15,551 per gram, while 22K gold gained Rs 110 to Rs 14,255 per gram.
The latest rise in domestic gold prices comes after gold climbed more than 1% globally on Wednesday, supported by a weaker US dollar. Investors are also awaiting key US inflation data due this week, which could offer fresh clues about the Federal Reserve's monetary policy outlook amid the ongoing rally in oil prices.
Meanwhile, silver is priced at Rs 255 per gram and Rs 2,55,000 per kilogram in India today, remaining unchanged from the previous session.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
The 24 Karat gold price in India stands at Rs 15,551 per gram, up Rs 120 from the previous rate. For larger quantities, 8 grams of 24K gold costs Rs 1,24,408, while the price for 10 grams is Rs 1,55,510, up Rs 1,200. For 100 grams, the 24K gold rate is Rs 15,55,100, reflecting a rise of Rs 12,000.
22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
The 22 Karat gold price is Rs 14,255 per gram, registering a gain of Rs 110. The price of 8 grams stands at Rs 1,14,040, up Rs 880, while 10 grams costs Rs 1,42,550, an increase of Rs 1,100. For 100 grams, the 22K gold price has risen to Rs 14,25,500, up Rs 11,000.
18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
The 18 Karat gold price is currently Rs 11,663 per gram, higher by Rs 90. The rate for 8 grams is Rs 93,304, up Rs 720, while 10 grams of 18K gold costs Rs 1,16,630, marking a rise of Rs 900. For 100 grams, the price stands at Rs 11,66,300, up Rs 9,000 from the previous rate.
"With PPI due Thursday and CPI Friday, a hot print could pressure gold further; a soft one could open room toward $4,400. Gold looks set to trade in a $4,300 (~ Rs 150,000) to $4,500 (~ Rs 157,000) band, favouring a buy-the-dip, sell-the-rally approach for now. Silver has more room to run - a hold above $67 (~ Rs 243,000) opens the path toward $70 (~ Rs 247,000)," said Mr. Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd.
