Gold Rate Today in India Rises After Big Fall: Check Latest 22K, 24K & 18K Gold Prices on 1st October
Gold rates in India showed mixed movement on Thursday, October 1, with 24 Karat gold rising while 22 Karat and 18 Karat rates declined. The latest movement comes as gold prices globally gained after softer-than-expected US inflation data eased expectations of a Federal Reserve rate hike this month, while investors now await upcoming US jobs data for further clues on the central bank's policy direction.
In India, 24 Karat gold rose by Rs 45 per gram to Rs 14,939, while 22 Karat gold declined by Rs 30 per gram to Rs 13,695. The price of 18 Karat gold fell by Rs 25 per gram to Rs 11,208.
Silver prices in Delhi also remained under pressure, with the precious metal available at Rs 235 per gram and Rs 2,35,000 per kilogram on Thursday. The movement in precious metals is likely to remain sensitive to global interest-rate expectations, US economic data and broader market cues.
