The price of 24 Karat gold in India rose by Rs 27 per gram to Rs 15,344 on Wednesday. For larger quantities, 8 grams is priced at Rs 1,22,752, while 10 grams costs Rs 1,53,440, reflecting a daily increase of Rs 216 and Rs 270, respectively. For 100 grams, the price stands at Rs 15,34,400, up Rs 2,700 from the previous session.
22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
The price of 22K gold increased by Rs 25 per gram to Rs 14,065. The rate for 8 grams stands at Rs 1,12,520, while 10 grams is priced at Rs 1,40,650, with both quantities gaining Rs 200 and Rs 250, respectively. For 100 grams, 22K gold is priced at Rs 14,06,500, up Rs 2,500.
18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India
The price of 18K gold climbed Rs 20 per gram to Rs 11,508. The price for 8 grams rose by Rs 160 to Rs 92,064, while 10 grams increased by Rs 200 to Rs 1,15,080. For 100 grams, the price reached Rs 11,50,800, marking a gain of Rs 2,000 from the previous day.

Silver prices in India remained unchanged on Wednesday, September 16, with the metal holding steady at Rs 245 per gram, the same as the previous day. The price of 8 grams stood at Rs 1,960, while 10 grams was priced at Rs 2,450. For larger quantities, 100 grams of silver cost Rs 24,500, and 1 kilogram was priced at Rs 2,45,000, with no change recorded across all quantities.
"Gold steadied after a one-month low, with all eyes on Wednesday's Fed decision, where markets price a near-certain quarter-point hike to 3.75%-4.00%. Hot August PPI and CPI data pushed rate-hike odds for the meeting to roughly 90%, driving a third straight weekly loss for both metals - silver fell over 3%, wider than gold. Treasury yields hit 5% for the first time since 2023," said Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd.
