Gold Silver Rates Today LIVE: MCX Gold's Crash Deepens, Silver Nears Rs 2.30 Lakh As COMEX Slips Below $4,100

Gold rates and silver rates in India continued to fall further on June 11, 2026. The crash in MCX gold deepened as it neared Rs 1,46,500 per 10 grams, while MCX silver underperformed by nearing below Rs 2,30,500 per 1Kg. Both the precious metals are down by nearly 1% and the reason is sharp selling pressure in the global bullion market.

Spot gold has slipped below $4,100 per ounce. On the other hand, spot silver traded higher by 1% to perform near $64 per barrel. Both US WTI Crude Oil & Brent Crude surged by 2% each to trade near $92 per barrel and $95 per barrel.

The precious metals struggled for stability as US dollar lingered to its highest level in two months after US launched fresh strikes on Iran overnight. President Donald Trump has accused Iran for stalling negotiation talks over interim peace agreement.

The protracted conflict and the ongoing near-total closure of the Strait of Hormuz continued to disrupt energy flows from the Persian Gulf, fueling concerns about inflationary pressures and central bank interest rate hikes. Meanwhile, US consumer inflation accelerated in May to its fastest pace in more than three years due to soaring energy costs, though the reading matched market expectations, as per Trading Economics.

This has strengthened the case of a rate hike from US Federal Reserve later this year.
