Gold rates in India climbed by up to Rs 1,100 on the day of Choti Diwali. On November 7, 2026, the 24-carat gold price was up in the range of Rs 11 to Rs 1,100 across grams. 22-carat and 18-carat gold prices also gained by highest Rs 1,000 and Rs 900. This came after gold prices crashed steeply by up to Rs 25,600 on the day of Dhanteras.
On the other hand, silver rates in India are unchanged on Saturday. The 999 purity silver is priced at Rs 2.05 lakh per 1Kg.
The performance came after MCX gold crashed by 1.20% on Friday to hold below Rs 1,42,400 per 10 grams. Silver was marginally up to Rs 1,84,977 per 1Kg. Notably, spot gold also dropped by 0.4% overnight to hold above $4,070 per ounce and spot silver gained by 0.2% to trade near $51,88 per ounce.
Meanwhile, crude oil prices regained momentum. US WTI Crude oil is near $91 per barrel and Brent crude above $98 per barrel.
Precious metals came under pressure due to strengthening of dollar after a stronger-than-expected nonfarm payrolls report, reinforcing expectations that the Federal Reserve could raise interest rates at its policy meeting next month.
The US economy added 165,000 jobs in October, well above market expectations of 65,000, while the unemployment rate unexpectedly declined to 4.1%. Employment figures for the previous two months were also revised upward by a combined 84,000. Adding to the hawkish outlook, average hourly earnings rose by 0.4%, exceeding forecasts of 0.3%, while a renewed increase in crude oil prices further fueled inflation concerns. Despite Friday's pullback, gold remained up more than 4% for the week, supported by safe-haven demand following a sweeping Democratic victory in the US midterm elections, which prompted investors to rotate out of AI stocks and seek defensive assets, as per Trading Economics.

Live Silver Rates Today: MCX Silver Price Technical Outlook
MCX Silver ended the week on a cautiously positive note, settling near ₹1,84,787 after finding support in the lower trading range. On the upside, immediate resistance is placed at ₹1,86,000–₹1,88,000, followed by a stronger hurdle at ₹1,94,000–₹1,96,000. A sustained breakout above ₹1,88,000 could lend fresh impetus to the recovery. On the downside, the ₹1,78,000–₹1,80,000 zone remains the immediate support base, with a decisive breach potentially exposing prices to further declines towards ₹1,72,000–₹1,70,000. Daily momentum indicators continue to reflect underlying weakness, suggesting that a sustained move above the immediate resistance band will be necessary to confirm a meaningful recovery. Meanwhile, the appreciation in the rupee limited domestic silver's ability to fully capture the rebound in international prices: Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.

Live Gold Rates Today: MCX Gold Price Weekly Outlook
MCX Gold ended the week with a positive bias, closing near ₹1,42,167 after rebounding from the ₹1,37,500–₹1,38,300 zone. Immediate resistance is placed at ₹1,43,000–₹1,43,700, followed by ₹1,45,300–₹1,46,000. A sustained move above these zones could pave the way for a retest of the recent highs. On the downside, ₹1,41,000–₹1,40,000 remains the immediate support zone, while a break below it could drag prices toward ₹1,38,300–₹1,37,500. The rupee strengthened about 1.1% this week to around 93.90 per dollar, which limited gains in domestic prices relative to COMEX: Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.

Live Silver Rates Today: Spot Silver To Rise Or Fall Next Week
COMEX Silver ended the week on a positive note, rebounding from the $48.50–$49.00 base and closing near $51.94. Immediate resistance is placed at $54.00–$54.50, followed by $56.00–$56.50. A sustained move above $54.50 could strengthen recovery momentum. On the downside, $51.50 remains the immediate support, while a break below it could drag prices toward $49.00–$48.50. The twin lows near this base form a possible double-bottom on the daily chart, which would be confirmed only by a close above $54.50. The metal tracked the same softer-dollar, lower-yield backdrop as gold during the week, but Friday’s strong US jobs data capped the upside: Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.

Live Gold Rates Today: Spot Gold Technical View For Next Week
COMEX Gold ended the week with a positive bias, recovering from the $3,880 area and closing near $4,075. Immediate resistance is placed at $4,100, followed by $4,170–$4,200. A sustained close above these zones could extend the recovery and open the way toward higher levels. On the downside, $$4,000-3,970 remains the immediate support zone, while a break below it could drag prices toward $3,900–$3,880. The weekly chart shows a bullish engulfing candle after the preceding decline, though the long upper wick shows sellers still active near resistance. Gold rebounded on a softer dollar and easing Treasury yields, but gave back some gains on Friday after US October payrolls came in at 165,000 against expectations of about 65,000, with unemployment at 4.1%. The strong data gives the Fed more room to focus on inflation: Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.

Live Gold Silver Rates Today: What Impacted Gold Silver Prices This Week?
Gold and silver staged a notable recovery despite the hawkish monetary-policy outlook. Gold gained approximately 4.5% during the week, recording its strongest weekly performance since August. However, prices retreated from their intraday highs after the stronger employment report lifted the dollar and Treasury yields. The recovery was supported by bargain buying following the sharp correction in the previous week, while uncertainty surrounding global technology stocks encouraged some diversification into precious metals. In India, lower international gold prices also attracted physical buying ahead of Diwali. Nevertheless, expectations of further Fed tightening and higher borrowing costs continued to limit the sustainability of bullion's recovery: Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.
