Gold rates today in India plunge steeply on July 1, 2026, due to weak global trends, a stronger dollar and rates hike fear. Physical gold rate dropped by at least Rs 12,600 in 24 carat gold of 100 grams, while the decline was by Rs 1,260 in 10 grams. At top jewelers in India, 1 gram of gold is below Rs 13,000 in 22 carat and 18 carat gold is struggling too.

Explaining the reason behind the decline, Gaurav Garg, research analyst at Lemonn markets desk said, precious metals continued to weaken as a stronger U.S. dollar and rising Treasury yields reduced the appeal of non-yielding assets, while expectations of further U.S. Federal Reserve policy tightening remained a key headwind. Investors are also awaiting upcoming U.S. employment data for further direction.

Going ahead, the analyst expects commodity markets remain volatile as traders closely monitor geopolitical developments and key U.S. macroeconomic data.

22 carat gold price stood at Rs 12,950 per 1 gram on July 1, 2026, down from Rs 13,065 yesterday. Also, 8 grams gold price dropped to Rs 103,600 on Wednesday, from previous day's Rs 104,520. While 10 grams gold crashed to Rs 129,500 from yesterday's Rs 130,650. Lastly, 100 grams gold nosedived to Rs 1,295,000 from previous day's Rs 1,306,500.

Coming to 18 carat, 1 gram gold price stood at Rs 10,595 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,05,950 per 10 grams. Additionally, 24 carat gold rate is at Rs 14,127 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,41,270 per 10 grams.

Malabar Gold Rates Today

Here, 22 carat gold price stood at Rs 12,905 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,29,050 per 10 grams. Also, 24 carat gold rate is at Rs 14,078 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,40,780 per 10 grams.

Kalyan Jewellers Gold Rates Today

At Kalyan, 22 carat gold price stood at Rs 13,020 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,30,200 per 10 grams, slightly expensive than compared to other peers.

Joyalukkas Gold Rates Today

Today, 22 carat gold price stood at Rs 12,905 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,29,050 per 10 grams at Joyalukkas stores. These rates are applicable for states like Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

IBJA Gold Rates Today

At IBJA, the 999 purity gold price is at Rs 13,943 per 1 gram, while the 995 purity gold rate is at Rs 13,888 per 1 gram. Furthermore, the 916 purity gold is at Rs 12,772 per 1 gram, at Rs 10,458 in 750 purity and at Rs 8,157 in 585 purity.
