Gold rates in India dropped significantly on Tuesday ahead of the US Federal Reserve's policy outcomes. The 24-carat gold price plunged by at least Rs 9,200, while the 22-carat and 18-carat gold prices declined nearly Rs 8,500 and Rs 6,900 in 100 grams, respectively. The majority of experts are predicting a rate hike from the Fed, which makes the dollar attractive and lessens demand for gold. However, at top jewelers, gold prices surged sharply due to festive demand. At Tanishq stores, 22-carat gold rose by Rs 3,000 to Rs 30 across grams. He added that despite the prices being 45-50% higher than they were during Ganesh Chaturthi last year, the demand for the precious metal is expected to remain resilient this season, driven by firm prices and future outlook. Consumers may adopt a more measured approach to spending, with a preference for gold coins, lightweight jewellery, and smaller-ticket purchases as they navigate elevated prices.

Tanishq Gold Rates Today

22-carat gold prices rise by Rs 30 in 1 gram, up by Rs 240 in 8 grams, higher by Rs 300 in 10 grams and surged by Rs 3,000 in 100 grams. Accordingly, on September 15, 2026, 22-carat gold price stood at Rs 14,085 per 1 gram, at Rs 112,680 per 8 grams, at Rs 140,850 per 10 grams, and at Rs 1,408,500 per 100 grams.

Meanwhile, 18-carat gold price stood at Rs 11,524 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,15,240 per 10 grams, Also, 24-carat gold rates stood at Rs 15,365 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,53,650 per 10 grams.

The 999 purity gold rate is at Rs 15,105 per 1 gram, while the 995 purity and 916 purity gold prices stood at Rs 15,045 and Rs 13,836 respectively. Furthermore, the 585 purity gold is priced at Rs 8,836 per 1 gram.

At Malabar, the 22Also, 24-carat gold price is at Rs 15,316 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,53,160 per 10 grams.

At Kalyan, 10 grams and 1 gram gold prices are at Rs 14,240 and Rs 1,42,400 under 22-carat.

Joyalukkas Gold Rates Today

Furthermore, at retail stores of Joyalukkas, 22-carat gold rates are at Rs 14,040 per 1 gram and the 10 grams gold is at Rs 1,40,400. These rates are applicable in states like Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
