Gold Rates Today (20/10/2026) On Dussehra: 24K, 22K, 18K Gold Prices At Tanishq, IBJA, Joyalukkas, Malabar

Gold rates in India witnessed a sharp decline on October 20th, as the festive demand rose amidst the celebration of Dussehra. However, at top jewellers, some of the gold prices are unchanged. The 1 gram gold price is above Rs 13,600 in 22-carat, above Rs 11,130 in 18-carat and over Rs 14,800 in 24-carat. In the global market, on Tuesday, spot gold traded around $4,145 per ounce with marginal upside, and spot silver neared $57.5 per ounce with 1% gains. The MCX bullion market is closed for the morning session for the festival but will open from 5:00 pm for its evening session. The upcoming US Federal Reserve's policy next week will play a major role in deriving sentiments in precious metals.

"Investors balance expectations of a near-term Fed pause against the possibility of another rate hike in December. The rebound from last week's two-month low was supported by falling Treasury yields and safe-haven demand after volatility in AI and semiconductor stocks prompted a shift toward government bonds. Going forward, the direction of the US dollar and bond yields will remain the key drivers for precious metals," said Kaynat Chainwala, AVP Commodity Research, Kotak Neo.

He added that any disappointment in upcoming technology earnings could trigger a risk-off move, leading investors toward bonds, easing yields further, and providing additional support to gold prices. Silver has managed a modest 1% recovery and trades near $57.5 after last week's steep 6% decline, but its higher industrial exposure leaves it vulnerable to a deeper correction if risk sentiment deteriorates and growth concerns resurface.

Tanishq Gold Rates Today

22-carat gold price stood at Rs 13,610 per 1 gram on October 20th, unchanged from the previous day. Meanwhile, 8 grams gold price is at Rs 108,880, 10 grams at Rs 136,100 and 100 grams gold price in the same carat at Rs 1,361,000.

18-carat gold price at Tanishq stood at Rs 11,135 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,11,350 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, 24-carat gold price stood at Rs 14,847 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,48,470 per 10 grams.

IBJA Gold Rates Today

At IBJA, the 999 purity gold price dropped to Rs 14,594 per 1 gram, while the 995 purity and 916 purity gold prices were at Rs 14,536 and Rs 13,369 per 1 gram respectively. Meanwhile, the 750 purity gold is priced at Rs 10,946 and the 585 purity gold is at Rs 8,538 respectively.

Joyalukkas Gold Rates Today

At retail stores of Joyalukkas, 22-carat gold prices are at Rs 13,490 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,34,900 per 10 grams. These rates are applicable in cities like Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

Malabar Gold Rates Today

Here, 22-carat gold prices are at Rs 13,490 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,34,900 per 10 grams.
